CHN provides services when your safety and independence may be impacted by aging, injury and/or disease.
Our therapists complete a functional assessment and develop with you and your physician a plan of care specific to your needs. Services may include therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, lymphedema therapy, strengthening and/or an endurance program.
Conditions that may benefit from physical therapy are extensive, but include:
- Balance Disorders
- Cerebral Palsy
- Joint Replacements/Amputations
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Pain Management
- Post-Surgical Conditions
- Stroke/Traumatic Brain/Spinal Cord Injury
- Weakness/Poor Endurance
Our entire therapy team – physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy; work with you to slow the disease progression of aging, maximize your independence, and improve quality of life.
Millions of seniors fall each year. Our “Step to Safety” Fall Risk Program is designed to identify your potential for falls, implement a strengthening/balance program, and recommend home modifications if needed.
